Description of Project :

Located in the suburbs of Colombo, at Thalawathugoda, Baththaramulla, this is a 6 storied office building with a basement having a floor area of approximately 9,900 sq.m. This building accommodates the office of the Government Analyst’s Department in addition to the laboratories such as DNA laboratory, Serology Laboratory, Toxicology Laboratory, Food Laboratory, Milk Laboratory, Liquor Laboratory, Narcotics Laboratory, Forensic Explosive, Fires Laboratory, and Fire Arms and Ballistics Laboratory. Progress of project was governed by allocation of money from the government.



Description of Services Provided:

- Preparation of schematic, conceptual and detailed architectural drawings.

- Preparation of detailed structural, water supply & drainage and electro-mechanical drawings.

- Preparation of tender documents, tender evaluations and award of construction on subcontractors’ works.

- Project planning and construction management.

- Procurement of laboratory furniture.

- Design and installation of lifts, fire protection detection systems, CCTV MATV systems, Telephone  LAN systems, air controlling system, laboratory gas supply system, gas detection systems, firing range, laboratory furniture including fume cabinets microbiological safety cabinets, vehicle hoist, fume extraction system, door access control systems, multi media sound systems for auditorium.

- Landscaping
